4 Questions You Should Be Sure to Ask Your Contractor

There are several questions you can ask your lighting professional to ensure a professional and trouble free installation:

1. Will there be connections in the ground? Connections in the ground are the weakest link, since moisture can cause wicking, a condition the eventually deteriorates the efficiency of your system. The less connections in the ground the better.

2. How do you check for wire and transformer overloads? Every system should be checked with an Amp Probe to ensure that no wire and transformer is overloaded.

3. Will every fixture have the same light output? This question is very important since all fixtures must have between 10.8 -12 volts. The best way to ensure every fixture receives the same voltage is to have them on an Equalizer Hub.

4. What is the required minimum voltage to the lamp? The minimum voltage to every lamp should be between 10.8-12 volts to ensure maximum efficiency and lamp life span
